What do you think of the UK plan to use food waste and beer brewery refuge for energy?

It is good to see yet another craft brewer taking a socially responsible, green approach to their business. Adnams is a small, traditional British brewer; but, they seem to be similar to the American craft brewers. A number of American craft brewers, best known being New Belgium in Colorado, but also Abita here in Louisiana, use various ways to generate and use renewable energy and recycle their waste products.

Most brewery waste products are actually best used as livestock feed. It is also good to see progress being made in generating methane from waste as that is a likely solution to a number of waste streams from a variety of industries.

It seems like a good idea, like a lot of things how it pans out in real life is another story. Leave it to a government agency to create red tape and silliness.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
