I spend a great deal of time answering questions on here, answering my emails, and looking things up. Reading is good and so is TV. I'm still watching things on Netflix I missed in past years and I can watch it from the beginning at my leisure.
There are all sorts of things to do. I do keep foster animals. That takes time and patience and you save a lot of lives by taking time with them.
I love video games and have loved them since Pong came out. That takes time. Just find something you like to do and set yourself up to do it.
I like the emails but get tired of it and want real input. I also call up friends I no longer live by every so often and keep up with what they are doing and what their kids are doing. I spend a great deal of time on my yard and should on my house.
There are always projects.
There are a lots of things you can do on the internet as in playing all kinds of games like solitaire, monopoly, bowling, check out the website Pogo to play some games and do puzzles also (all free). You can read books on the computer as well on a kindle. If you have a certain hobby you like to do you can do that also, like knitting, needlepoint, crocheting, even sewing, you can do these for a charity if you like or sell them with a craft show in your area.
Watch TV, chat with relatives or friends your neighbors. Even if you're housebound I am sure they have tours/trips you can take on a handicap tour bus. Check with your Senior Citizen centers and your Dept of Aging to find out more things that you can do.
Some folks even work at home to get a paycheck from/for the handicap/disabilities services. You might even contact your Social Services also.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
