What does a living thing have that a non living thing does not have?

Life as a biochemical process requires respiration (oxidization of fuels), food intake (getting materials to burn), growth (mass increment), reproduction (ability to leave copies of itself). All of this characteristics involve METABOLISM, wich is common to all life in earth Not all living beings move, or reproduce, or respond to stimuli, but most do.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
