Passive aggressive behavior or negativistic personality traits is a passive behavior sometimes obstructionist resistance to following through with expectations in interpersonal or occupational situations.

Passive means lethargic, inert, latent, submissive and inactive. Someone who is passive is unwilling to argue. A passive statement lacks any definiteness.
