Saffron signifies sacrifice and the ultimate realization of the Self with a sense of dutiful detachment performed in the purposeful daily actions. Here sacrifice is to be understood as the nature of creation for support and sustenance of life because one life form procreates another of the same but sustains it by the sacrifice (=death) of another- a principle true of both herbivorous and carnivorous life forms. Only human minds are capable realizing this principle and hence human beings are only urged to perform their actions in a harmless manner with dutiful detachment maintaining natural harmony.

White signifies untainted and pure nature of Creator towards whom all creatures should strive to realize since all colors seen individually by creatures are presented in white light as a common illumination.
