What flat irons are best for African American hair?

I would have to suggest either the Gold N Hot flat iron or the Rusk Ceramic flat iron. My hair is hard to straighten and unruly. The Gold N Hot flat iron or curling iron was designed for ethnic hair.

The maker understands that ethnic hair can be hard to style and so it gets very hot. Great news for us gals with unruly hair. The nice thing is it has temperature settings so my daughter with easy to style hair can turn the temp setting way down and use it.

I also swear by the Rusk ceramic flat iron. It is kind of expensive but worth every penny. It may run around $75 but my last one lasted over 5 years, not too bad.

The Rusk flat iron has setting as well, and gets really hit. I love the smooth finish. Out of the two, I use the Rusk flat iron more and I use my Gold N Hot curling iron more, go figure.

You can usually find either of these two on Ebay. Just make sure to buy brand new.

The best are Chi and ghd. I've used them both. Take a look at this site for a more thorough overview .. (rather than me retyping everything) flatironreviewsguide.com Honestly, once you understand the technology used in flat irons, you can pick any one based on how they are made rather than thinking about a particular brand.

The ones with ceramic plates and that use infrared heat are the best. They get your hair straighter faster, the straightness lasts longer, and there is less damage to your hair because the plates are made of quality materials. Trust me ...ave up to get the best flat iron you can and you'll be happy.P.s.

The GoldNHot is probably one of the worst you could use. Stay away from any flat iron that has aluminum plates! You know the shiny gold kind?

Those are murder on our hair (yup, I have natural kinky hair, and I speak from personal experience).

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
