What happens if an insulin-dependent diabetic does not take insulin?

Given that you are 21 and not overweight, and have no family history, your chance of having type 2 diabetes is very, very low. If you had type 1 diabetes, you would be spilling sugar and ketones like crazy in your urine, and you wouldn't be wondering what excessive urination is like because you would know for sure. In other words, you wouldn't be saying that you pee once an hour and could hold it longer.

My advice is to see your PCP because you aren't going to stop worrying until you do that. My real advice is to ask your PCP about referring you to a therapist to deal with the anxiety instead of just confirming that you don't have a physical disease and going home. Yes, many people who have type 2 diabetes didn't realize they had it until their doctor did some tests, but you're way too young, and you have no family history.

The scary "I didn't know I had T2 diabetes until my doctor found it in some testing" story could be told to anyone. If you don't have any symptoms of diabetes, then you could have diabetes just like me. Except that person wasn't 21 and not obese with no family history.

Don't let the story scare you.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
