What has happened to the Askville Gazette?

It's not like I was getting it anyway, but I haven't seen anything about it lately. Are some people still getting it, or have they ceased putting it out? Inquiring minds want to know.

I used to get it but I haven’t gotten one in several weeks now. Hopefully they are retooling it and are going to bring it back in a new and improved form. The old form left a lot to be desired and is currently being used to line the bottom of dead parrot cages all over England.

Since I don’t have a parrot either alive or dead I shipped my copies off to Ipswich so that they could be put to good use. Sources: my ramblings .

Victim of Natural Selection. It just wasn't strong enough to survive. It is forever lost with the dodo bird and MC Hammer's pants from "You Can't Touch This".

We probably should have a memorial service for the Gazette. Honestly, I have no idea. I thought they were "testing" it like other things they dangle over our heads.

I still feel like the mouse in Flowers for Algernon. I haven't seen it since, I think October or November. I haven't even seen people using it as a joke in their answers anymore. At least for a little while there we actually had some very rare sighting of the Gazette.

1 I had the same question. I did finally get the first edition, but I haven't seen a second. OK, all you chosen people.

Enlighten those of us in the chopped liver contingent. Has there been a second? .

Poppet! Said: 2 I didn't get it for awhile, and was wondering about it myself. I went into my settings, and saw that I was on "unsubscribe" from it.

I didn't set it that way myself, so maybe it's the default? Anyway, I have seen one for several weeks. Maybe they are waiting for the members to actually write their own?!

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
