1. What is the normal cpu temperature (idle/load, celsius) for this model? Varies with ambient air and graphics activity.

Not for me, but I don't play with games. Expect loud fans when playing games. Fans usually go high speed at 75C.

3. Which version of OSX is most suitable for this model (smooth performance+app support)? Latest is always best, so OS 10.9.2.

Any other known problems? No unusual failure reports. Software issue with display shimmer; fix is update software.

(new original battery, low-medium cpu/gpu load) 400-600 cycles. Some people use battery almost always, so they go through 300 or more cycles per year. My 2010 has 67 cycles, like new.
