In intradiscal electrothermal therapy (IDET), a thin wire is inserted into the bulging or protruding disc that is thought to be producing back pain. An electrical current is then run through the wire, causing it to heat up and shrink the disc. To date, the procedure has not proven to be effective, and patient satisfaction studies have not been favorable.
In the 1980s, a similar attempt to reduce the size of bulging discs with chemical injections (chemonucleolysis) yielded less than satisfactory results, and the procedure is no longer utilized.

A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
