Personally, I think an arrest warrant should be issued no matter what state he is in. After an arrest is made, he should NOT be allowed out of the corrections facility until his unpaid childsupport is paid in full; and under the circumstances he can afford to pay ahead, if I were the judge, I would also order a 2 year advance payment in child support and 1 year in jail before he could be released from custody. People such as this are worse than 'dead beat' dads, they are fully able to afford to pay child support and make no attempt, they simply don't care.
Whereas many dead beat dads cannot, but do care about their children. However, that is no excuse for any dead beat dad, they should all take on the responsibility, or make an attempt to. Those are the consequences one pays for not using condoms or other safe sex practices or birth control measures.
We are literally swimming in social problems with no answers to the remedy. Our children need more protection from abuse, and I mean real abuse not some fabricated bs about taking away a cell phone issue. We need more programs for the abused, the prevention of juvenile delinquency (which people such as Bobby Brown and his attitude help spawn) and to bring about social awareness of our problems rather than ignore them.
Stop the silly game of playing 'ostrich' and hope the issues in our communities disappear, because they will not. The only way to make our communities safer is to engage in the remedy of the illness. Bobby Brown and those like him, are a great part of our social illness and need to be dealt with as the disease they are.
If you feel the urge and feel your mature enough to play, then by all means, be mature and responsible enough to pay!
Full custody of the child while on house arrest! YIKES!
He has already been arrested for negelect and released one time. In Bobby Brown's case or any case that fit's this criteria. I believe that if he is found to have had the ability to pay his child support and did not, he should be given the maximum penalty allowed by law.
If anyone is doing there best to support there children with all the means they have and it is still not enough for the court, I do not believe that jail is a solution.
I wish that in fact there was some sort of punishment but the bottom line is that kids need their fathers. There is no test to pass or survey to fill out before becoming one you just are, at some point a man should grow up and put their childs needs before there own but there is no requirement to do so. The bottom line ends up being their own children who suffer, when in reality I should be him who suffers. So sad.
If I could re-write the law, I would insist on wage garnishment to pay for the children along with a court sanctioned job to ensure the wages are being earned to support those children, my guess is that the problem is so wide spread that sterilization would probably be more effective.
Jail time is the appropriate punishment. It gives the offender time to reflect on the importance of providing food, clothing, and shelter to his children. Plus, it's a consequence that will deter future infractions.
" A: The same punishment as currently exists for deadbeat moms. Don't you think?
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
