I have a PC. Is Garageband only for MAC? I have used Garageband and was very impressed with it but I have a PC, not a Mac.

Audacity Garageband, like the rest of iLife, is Mac-only; Apple's software business exists to push their extremely high-margin hardware business, and Garageband makes use of many core OS X features (and OS X only runs on Apple hardware, although a small group of hackers has had some success running on generic Intel boxes). I've only used the Mac version of Audacity myself, but since it's open source (and therefore free! ), the Windows and Linux versions can't be that different. It should be able to handle whatever microphone source you're using, and lets you edit the waveform before saving the file.

Here's the full feature list. Sources: http://audacity.sourceforge.net/ .

Try ProTools LE for a single voice or instrument. Don’t know about the program GarageBand. If you’re looking for something to record a single voice or instrument, ProTools LE has been recommended to me by voice professionals. It requires the M-box from Digidesign.

The M-box (or M-box 2 or M-box mini) is often bundled with ProTools. You can find it online easily..

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
