Read some journal that are interesting to you that might publish something based on your thesis. Having an audience in mind and a possible future article planned can help you focus your work.

Print it out and put it by your bed. Then, do a few pages every night. If nothing else, it will put you to sleep.

You could also put it in your bathroom--for those time's you're looking for something to read. Either way, making it so you can do short little sections at a time rather than looking at having to do the whole thine at one time.

Commit to a minimum of a page a day. If you happen to do more, fine... but just do a page a day.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
