What is the difference between intuition and instinct?

Intuition uses thought, it is a decision based upon past knowledge, experience. Instinct doesn't use thought, it is a natural reaction to a stimulus.

Intuition is knowing what to do, or what is going to happen, without concrete evidence, whereas instinct is reacting to something without needing to think about it. For instance, if I were to punch you, you might put up your arm to block me, that would be instinct. If you looked at me, you my have intuition tell you I'm going to punch you, in which case you might step away or push me away prior to the punch.

I guess it really matters if your subconscious (instinct) or your consciousness (intuition) reacts.

Intuition would be external to internal. Instinct the reverse. James.

Intuition is a sense of the mind that is derived from the soul. It shows us the way. Instinct on the other hand, is another sense of the mind that is derived from the body.It shows us how to get to the way...

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
