It's a fair question but your responses are violation of the Askville Terms of Service or rules you agreed to follow in order to post here. Questions are supposed to be traps. You were so nasty to Mr. Squeeky, a longterm and valued member of Askville that it would be an insult to him if we didn't report you for an abuse of those terms.

Play by the rules or go away please.

Really, none. It is just a device of the communists to separate us! LOL ^Carrot 2 months ago.

Republicans suck and Democrats blow. Which are you? .

Republicans are a wholly owned subsidiary of the international banking cartel; while Democrats are for rent at reasonable rates. More seriously: the Republican party is supported brimarily through large lump sum donations from corporate interests. Their official philosophy is that businesses, if left to their own devices, will naturally adopt policies that are mutually beneficial to the country, and to the people, and that the free market will regulate the businesses.

The Democrat party is supported primarily through accumulated donations through labor unions and other groups. Their official philosophy is that the purpose of the government is to provide a framework to ensure that people and businesses have sufficient opportunity to excel, while preventing them from abusing each other. - but they view business more as a potential abuser of the workers. So a quick summary would be that republicans think if you give money to the rich, it will trickle down to the poor, while democrats think if you give money to the poor, it will flow up to the rich.

While Republicans say that our country is a democracy, in reality they want a single party government (an aristocracy) by the rich, exclusively for the rich, with little or no regard to others outside their peer group, are WAY too religious, and care more about their accumulated wealth than the overall welfare of the ecology even to the point of what it could mean to their children. They are self-serving money mongers. Democrats also say that we are a democracy and care about ALL people and the environment, but are too idealistic to realize that the ecology of the planet and the fate of mankind is finite.

They are scientific, if not logical, dreamers.

There is very little difference in actual practice. They have both been doing the same things for a while now. The only person who will change anything at all is Ron Paul.

Otherwise we're in for more of the same. DUH. It's going to happen until we stop accepting this "liberal versus conservative" bullcrap that they feed us.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
