What is the world coming to...when a Nun isn't safe?

Nobody is safe from robbers or other criminals. They are just as human as any other victims. There has been instances whereby priests, and other clergymen have been murdered, as well.
But you are right there is very bad karma for them, unless they repent and give themselves up for justice.
All my life I have given and seen given deference to Nuns. I was raised Baptist, became agnostic and then atheist after I discovered actual honesty. I saw no reason not to give them deference since they had publically devoted themselves to their chosen belief system.
The reason Nuns are murdered, raped and generally abuse by a few members of the public demonstrates that defective personality types do not, in many cases, have the capacity for empathy or consideration for others. I am thinking of a famous case in Latin America in a catholic country where four members of their military, all professing catholics, raped then murdered four Nuns in full habit. The Nuns were American citizens.

Dude, this has already happened long ago. This world is well past the point when dedicated people are safe. Remember those nuns in El Salvador?

Heh, at least they aren't fomenting rebellion anymore, so that's good. That was when Reagan was President, which says how much we're past considering the dedicated person a hands-off subject. And don't get me started on how the world treats Christians.
The only weird one here was why the guy thought a nun would have enough money to make a robbery worthwhile.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
