What is your favorite documentary film, and what do you like most about it?

Encounters at the End of the World (2007) by Werner Herzog. It is a film about Antarctica and people who live and work there. The unique personalities revealed are the core of the movie, rather than scientific investigations or nature of Antarctica. It's kind of meditative, and makes you think that "If you're not attached to somebody, you will end up at the end of the world" (An actual quote from the film).

I absolutely love Bill Maher's Religulous. He goes around the world asking "Why is faith good? " Its a really interesting question if you think about it.

The answers are always hilarious, and Maher explains why he thinks religion is bad, but in a funny and not too offensive way that makes sense. Even a super- firm Mormon I know thought it was funny!

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
