What is your first thought when somebody says drug addict?

My thought is usually they are someone with undiagnosed emotional problems and are self medicating.

Being in the "college" - "6th form" era (if you could call it that) a lot of people are experimenting with drugs that I have acquaintances with, though none of my friends are on drugs, some people in the school I have spoke to do seem to be on. Although they're present cheerful, they're always drawn to other influences (example - starting with cannabis, now they've moved onto pills) - then, when they're finally finished with this "age", they turn to smoking, which in turn, is killing them even quicker.

To answer your question, I don't have any strange reaction to a drug user, other than to have a look at them, to see if they're on drugs right now.

I always think of heroin or meth of some sort...it is rare you meet someone who is a drug addict smoking only pot...I think of really hard stuff...BUT...as someone who recently quit smoking cigarettes and is now having trouble getting off of the nicotine gum...now I would say...NICOTINE?!

People who takes substances other than alcohol which are psychotropic substances which elevate the mood and influence their mental functions. These substances causes addiction where person tend to take more and more that particular substance and eventually they develop tolerance over that. When they stop taking those they will also develop withdrawal symptoms related to that.

Also they get medical psychological and social problems in relation to drug use.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
