Presently, both Hergert Residential College and Broussard Information Technology or I. T. Residential College cater exclusively to LSU Freshmen.

Those who live at Hergert residence are able to make an easy transition to College life by experiencing their core classes in the residential College program. The I.T. Residential Colleges students will have the advantage of the technological aspects of their curriculum like the multimedia SMART classrooms with interactive Smartboards, digital cameras, scanners, printers, and cable television.
