What kind of environment should you put your gerbil in?

Gerbils are desert animals, but you can keep them in an ordinary rodent cage. As long as you provide food, water, and things to chew, your gerbil(s) will be happy Make sure they get exercise! They need it or else they get fat Also make sure they have gerbil food.

If you need to, get rodent food For treats, I would suggest you look up good fruits and veggies because some can harm your pets PS: as for any pet, NO CHOCOLATE.
