It takes all kinds. INPUTS: HD content. In order to display HD content on your TV you'll need HDMI and/or component inputs.

Note that component only carries video, so you'll need corresponding audio inputs if you're not running through a home theater system (HTS). Think long and hard about how many HD inputs you'll need (e.g. , to support HD cable/satellite box, HD DVR, HD DVD player, HD camera). The type will largely depend on type of output provided on the playback device.

Some playback devices have both HDMI and component outputs. However, to take full advantage of Blu-Ray and HD-DVD, you generally will need HDMI inputs (e.g. , to display at 1080p/24 on sets that support that resolution). SD content.

Depends on your sources. If you have a progressive scan DVD player, you'll need a component input to accept the progressive signal. Cameras will likely require a S-video input.

OUTPUTS: Generally speaking, this is a less critical factor and pretty much only applies to audio. Assuming you have a HTS, then you will probably route the sound from other devices (DVD, cable, etc) through the HTS and not the TV. For the TV itself, look for a digital optical output or coaxial digital output that can be routed to the HTS (or at least standard RCA type outputs that will pass analog signals out).

Depends I would say that it totally depends on how your entertainment system is setup. If you have a high quality received then you should be able to route all your components through that and then you would only need an HDMI in on your TV (or DVI). Then if you wanted to connect your camera to the TV, if it’s not an HD camera you’ll just need to have regular composite (red, yellow, white) connection into the tv.

If you don’t have a high quality receiver and you are planning to run everything through your TV then you’ll probably want at least 2 HMDI in (cable and DVD) and then the same composite in’s. HMDI connections are aweomse because they transmit not only the image but also the audio so it’s one cable for it all. For your audio output I'd look for a digital optical output or a digital coaxial output.

All in all, look for a TV with two HMDI inputs, composite inputs and then for added measure component inputs. Sources: personal experience .

RCA Jacks. I still love the RCA (Red, Yellow and White). Most DVD players have 'em, most newer TVs have 'em and with camera records as well as digital cameras there is a USB/RCA cable that connects from the camera (USB) to the auxiliary inputs of the device to which you want to connect it.

Looking for video box with same type outputs as inputs.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
