Yahoo messenger has phone ,video ,and im and theres also sight speed which I like.

You can opt for one of the following services. 1) Gizmo Project ($1.9 per minute) 2) Google Talk (doesn't connect to mobile or landline) 3) Jajah 4) Sightspeed($4.5 per month) 5) Vbuzzer($1.5 per minute) 6) globaliptel.com 7) axvoice.com 8) MRTalk 9) tokiva.com ($2.5 per minute) 10) Yahoo Messenger I hope you will find at least one these useful for your purpose.

I see someone mentioned Google Talk does not hit cellphones or landlines. Google Talk connects to both mobile and landlines in The US if you use it from a regular telephone.. The only thing you have do is connect your headset to your phone. I have only cordless phones (except the emergency one), so it's not a problem.

From hospital emergency rooms and after admission--in fact just when I fractured my ankle on June 18--I've dialed into my Google Talk number, entered my password and pressed "2" to call my parents halfway across the country--if not at home, on their cell--countless times. I was in the hospital for 10 days once and I set it to forward all calls to my mother's cellphone. That way, I could dial a local number from the hospital, and that number is set to appear on Caller-ID...she had no question who was calling her cellphone.

I also use Google Talk to call important clients inside The US--the time and duration is logged, and I can get the voicemail by calling in like any other voicemail service. I can get the sound--or better yet, like I did last Thursday, read a reasonable transcript in my email...all from a computer in a library. I've been able to get studio-quality audio out of yahoo's chat, but have never tried the video.

All it takes is the same mic and pre-amp that I'd use to tape a radio thing at home (hint--it's all from Radio Shack and was under $50 total) I've used skype for years--family overseas--and it gets broadcast quality audio, too. But a friend's son just hooked up the camera. For someone who's been on TV, I'm awful camera shy--unless I'm filming a commercial such as the one below (you can see how much fun it is in this an outtake from a shoot in 2002).

The audio on Skype has been fine but the video has not worked so well...it's been choppy. And now I can't just sound good...I need to look good, too! I notice that TV shows are starting to use Skype for interviews--CNN is heavy on it.

We tried Jajah between France and The US several years ago. Jajah to Jajah users could call each others' regular phones--mobile or landline--for free, but I had to go and register every home, office and cell number in The US and Paris--about 5 or 6, under as many accounts--so we could make full use of it. My cell, my former office and my former home home all had (and likely still have) local numbers in Paris that began with "01 06" that could only be dialed from both the house and cell in Paris--and the phones overseas, in turn, had local numbers here in The Midwest. It worked on caller ID--dialing the same number rang different places, depending where you called from.

(i.e. The Paris home and cell numbers could be reversed--or totally different--if I was calling from my cell or from my office.) It took me longer to type the explanation than it takes to set it up. I don't know if they still offer that free.

Have you tried http://www.eyeballchat.com/?I haven't. Nor have I tried http://www.ivideochat.com/ I suppose this might work: http://www.netmeetinghq.com/chat/login.phtml I can tell you that http://www.userplane.com/webmessenger/features.htmlworked not half-bad--a site I used to use had a chat powered by it. You could probably even create your own room, take that URL, go to http://www.webalias.com and get a website name for the chat.

The site I used to use has apparently since switched to http://www.meebo.com/rooms/ . Meebo is apparently cross-platform and likely contains one of your solutions: Google Talk, facebook chat, AIM...it also unifies twitter and myspace IM (yecch) into the same account. If you want a text chat custom box, there are zillions of places to get that online--just search for "create own free chat.

I've been using Google Voice for several months now. It gives you a list of phone numbers to select from, you can choose whatever area code you want. Then, you can assign your Google Voice number to any phone, cell or landline. It's simple to switch what phone you want to assign your GVoice number to at anytime from the web interface.

You can also set times that you don't want to be disturbed. Google Voice will turn your voicemail into a transcript and send it to your Gmail so you can read your messages on the go, too. Also, you can listen in on the voicemail as it's being left to screen your cell calls if you want.

Here's the link to more info google.com/googlevoice/about.html.

We have a thing called Magic Jack here in North America. Simply insert a small box into the usb port and connect a regular telephone into the box. The initial cost for mine was around $40, and then it's about $20 per year after that. It does not have video capabilities though.

Google has recently created a program that does that. I haven't checked it out though so I don't yet know how it works.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
