What planes did the Japanese use to bomb Pearl Harbor?

On December 7, 1941 the Imperial Japanese Navy Launched two waves of aircraft in its attack on the United States of America's military assets located in and around Pearl Harbor on the island of Oahu in the Hawaiian Islands. The types of aircraft which made up these attacking waves were a combination of the following; Japanese Navy Type 99 Carrier Bombers ("Val") Japanese Navy Type 97 Carrier Attack Planes ("Kate") Japanese Type 00 Carrier Fighters ("Zero") The first wave consisted of approximatly 183 planes configured as 'Val' dive bombers, 'Kate' torpedo bombers, 'Zero' fighters and 'Val' and 'Kate' high level bombers. A second wave of 167 planes followed approximatly 1 hour later made up of 'Val dive bombers, 'Kate' high level bombers and 'Zero' fighters.No torpedo bombers were among this second attack wave.

The entire Japanese aircraft attack force was launched from the Imperial Japenese carrier task force made up of all six of Japan's first-line aircraft carriers, Akagi, Kaga, Soryu, Shokaku and Zuikaku.
