What qualifications are needed to be on Iron Chef?

The Iron Chef host Alton Brown, will travel throughout USA to select the candidates. The minimum qualification is 10 years culinary experience out of which 5 years worked as a executive chef with a wide range of culinary experience. After the selection, candidates will be assembled in New york in the month of July, where a panel of judges will decide about the participating candidate.
