What should a finished polished timber floor look like?

The floor should be smooth if done properly. The clear coat should give the floor depth and accent the grain. By sanding between coats, it helps give it a clear, smooth finish.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
