What should I do with a cat that is constipated?

Best thing for a cat is cod liver oil. It will clear any potential hair ball causing blockage...and they happen to like it, so it's not difficult to get them to take it. Put it in a teaspoon and let them lick it out.

Beyond that...I avoid dry catfood and stick to canned, moist food which seems to keep my cat in good condition. Hope that helps.
