To become a realtor one must be at least 18 years of age and have at least a high school diploma. They can not have any convictions for an act that would constitute ground for disciplinary sanction, a crime htat has a direct bearing on the individuals ability to practice competently or endanger the public. They must take an approved pre-liscensure course and take a written exam.
