What type of off-campus programs does Dartmouth offer?

Dartmouth offers different Types of off-campus Programs. They includes: *Language Study Abroad This is an off-campus program by Dartmouth that consists of programs in different countries. This program gives a student the opportunity to live with local families and learn their history, cultures and way of life.

Before a student can participate in this program he/she will have to offer two language courses one for Advanced Language Study Abroad (LSA+), except the have an exemption from them. The Advanced Language Study Abroad is a program specially made for the students that have met the language requirement and are ready for a more advanced study abroad experience in language studies. *Foreign and Domestic Study This program offers an advanced study of the literature, language and civilization of a foreign country.In this program, students are given the opportunities to deeply study other disciplines and cultures and to understand the way it affects the society as a whole.

*Exchange Programs Dartmouth works together with has some partner institutions, in the United States and other countries, to organize a student exchange program. In this program a student from Dartmouth is registered in the other institution to study and gain some life experiences
