I love salt-glazed stoneware. It's a bit "primitive", and I love the cobalt-blue design and lettering. The photo below is a sample of what I mean.My town also has the pottery like this, though, with our town name on it and I have some pieces of that, which I really like.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
