While we were given no advance notice and we have not officially seen any copies of the letters, we believe there are probably three types: One which is given to non-tenured staff members stating that an employment contract is not being offered at this time for next year, one which is given to a tenured staff member stating that they are being RIF’ed from the position they currently hold but that they will be placed in another position due to their seniority in other areas, and finally, one which is give to tenured employees stating that they are being RIF’ed and there is no area they currently hold seniority in. I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
