I have read information related to research that eating oats and beans have beneficial effects towards reducing cholesterol. There is some relationship between specific types of fiber and positively impacting cholesterol.
You can eat any vegetable or fruits which contains Citric acid and fiber. Citric acid to control the cholesterol , fiber to wash out the unwanted things inside your stomach.
