Roosevelt had already stolen the American people's gold and shipped it off the Fort Knox. The economy had not improved and the country was going into a recession. If you really look at the acutal numbers belive it or not Hoover had a better first 4 years than Roosevelt's first 4 years.
And Hoovers numbers were in real money. Twenty dollars then was a twenty dollar gold coin. Roosevelts numbers were paper money.
Roosevelts speach was a pack of lies designed to con the gullable and keep him in power. Roosesvelt even tried to pack the Supreme Court which was unconstitional. He wanted to add more people to the Supreme Court to get his way.
You can't do that. What was he thinking? He had no respect for the American People and he had no respect for the Constitution of the United States.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
