What would RICH Romans eat as a feast?

We cook 95% outside. We have 1 Webber grill. Gas, 2-2 burner stoves, one big pit grill.

I can cook about all. Will cook a 100 kilo hog for X-Mass dinner this year. Have cooked fish I caught of the reef up to 100 kilo in size.

I also butcher our own pig, goat, chicken from the yard. Anything in the garden to throw in. So we survive here on what I can cook.

Wife is Asian so she cooks there type food also. But in the tropics most do cook outside.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
