Whatever happened to Barbara Mandrell?

Barbara Mandrell is a Country singer, born in 1948. Barbara Mandrell's last album was recorded in 1997. On November 5, 2007, Barbara Mandrell, along with Vince Gill and Rodney Crowell, was awarded a star on Nashville's "Walk of Fame."

It was announced on February 4, 2009 that Barbara Mandrell would enter the Country Music Hall of Fame along with Roy Clark and Charlie McCoy. The announcement was made that morning in Nashville. These days Mandrell is semi-retired, no further albums are planned but Mandrell does make occasional appearances at award ceremonies and on TV.
