What's a good Capture Card to Record/Stream Xbox 360 Gameplay in HD?

Hauppauge is not a hd pvr. Its a capture card. A hd pvr has an internal hard drive to copy gameplay to.

The hauppuage does not have this. So its not a hd pvr. So the proper term would be hauppauge capture card.

With that said, I would tell you to go for a blackmagic intensity pro if you want to record from hdmi in hd. Hauppauge will only record component, but hdmi gives a cleaner picture. Now if you want a real HD PVR then I would say tristar mx hd vpr, but it does not record component or hdmi.

It records from composite. This one has an internal hard drive and also records directly to flash memory without a computer. You can use a computer if you want, but its optional.

With the hauppauge and blackmagic, you will need a computer for sure. Hope this helps.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
