You should try Szechuan Chef in Bellevue (if you don't mind going to the east side). Szechuan Chef 15015 Main St Bellevue, WA 98007 (425) 746-9008 I went to Szechuan Chef in Bellevue and although I’m a big fan of Seven Stars Pepper, I think Szechuan Chef blows it out of the water. Possibly the best Szechuan food I’ve ever had (and I’m from NYC)!

It’s in a strip mall on Main Street off 148th NE and it’s definitely worth the drive. If you don’t want to drive to the east side then I still recommend Seven Stars Pepper Szechuan Restaurant, in the international district. For authentic Szechan food, the best I tried is Shi-Lin in the East Side. Thye serve great authentic Szechuan food (thumbs up from my friends growing up in that part of the country), such as thin beef slices cooked in a hot broth, Sichuanese Ravioli (appetizier), etc. The price is very reasonable. If you don’t believe in me, believe in the abundance of Chinese-speaking guests they serve!

The more mainstream dishes such as Shredded Pork with Hot Garlic Sauce are solid too. I’ve heard people say they also serve decent authentic Chinese food from other parts of China but I haven’t tried that. Sources: My experience Google Map View Larger Map .

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
