What's the difference between a psp Brick and a psp Slim?

Its usually called PSP Phat around here. The most obvious difference between the 2 can be seen physically. The PSP 2000 slim units have a glossy body all around, making it very prone to fingerprints and smears.

The phat PSPs on the other hand have a matte finish. Another point is that the slims are thinner and significantly lighter, making them more portable. This could be attributed to the smaller battery found in the slim which given the improved power draw, should give you the same amount of playing time as the PSP Phat (you could still use the Phat's battery, but you would need a special battery cover for that).

Durability wise, I guess the original phat units come out on top. The slims have a very flimsy memory stick door that feels like it might snap anytime, and the UMD tray feels very fragile. Moving to the technical side, both the PSP 1000 and 2000 have pretty much the same innards with a few improvements on the slim side.

The PSP slim has an improved better LCD that offers more contrast. The speakers were moved to the front top to prevent your fingers from covering them (PSP phat had them at the bottom, near the Start and Home buttons). The slim also has 64mb of RAM this time, compared to the 32mb found in the original units.

Slim PSPs can also be connected to a TV using a PSP compatible TV out cable. Lastly, the PSP slim is missing the infrared port found on the original PSP Phat, which could be used for remote control possibilities.

Sony’s Playstation Portable or PSP has become one of the must-haves in the gaming industry these days. It is not just a gaming console, but a commodity for most people. Most of the world’s population knows, or has at least heard, of the word PSP.

There are only 5 main models of PSP out in the market. They are PSP-Phat, PSP-Slim, PSP-Brite and PSP Go. PSP2 is yet to be launched. So, I am not sure where you got the PSP Bricked model if that’s what you thought it is.

Bricked is actually a terminology used as a PSP condition. If you hear somebody say bricked PSP, it means that the PSPs firmware is corrupt and would no longer turn on. Bricking can happen either when a homebrew application was not installed correctly or when a system update was interrupted.

If this happens, your PSP has just become a very expensive trash. I hope you understand why it is a crime to differentiate a PSP “Brick And a PSP Slim.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
