What's the difference between keloid and hypertrophic scars?

The first answerer is a total idiot, they are completely differen't things, The difference between the keloid scar and the Hypertrophic scar is as following: A keloid, sometimes referred to as a keloid scar, is a tough heaped-up scar that rises quite abruptly above the rest of the skin. It usually has a smooth top and a pink or purple color. Keloids are irregularly shaped and tend to enlarge progressively.

Unlike scars, keloids do not subside over time. Keloids are raised and look shiny and dome-shaped, ranging in color from pink to red. Some keloids become quite large and unsightly.

Aside from causing potential cosmetic problems, these exuberant scars tend to be itchy, tender, or even painful to the touch. Hypertrophic scars tend to be redder and may subside by themselves (a process which can take one year or more). Treatment such as injections of cortisone (steroids) can speed this process.

On a personal note, I am a keloid developer, and as a self harmer I have many all over my ... more.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
