When activity comes from background to foreground, text layout of buttons suddenly ranges from top to bottom?

Had to give it one more try. While I could not exactly duplicate your error, I was able to force the buttons to not show any text (blank buttons) when returning after Home button was hit. I fixed this by adding code at end of onResume to setText on each button.

I'm thinking this could work in your situation also because it might force recalculation of width of text in button. Might be worth a try?

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
