When and why did Mahalo change the minimum payout to 150 Mahalo Dollars?

The payout minimum went from $40.00 Mahalo Dollars to $150.00 Mahalo Dollars in the last payment cycle. The Announcement..~~>mahalo.com/answers/mahalo-answers-commun... was made December 1st.

I was away from Mahalo cause I had to deal with finals and school projects. I never got the email that the payout was going to be changed. It felt like it took me forever to get to my M$20, and now that the minimum payout is M$150.

I feel a bit pissed off. I am never going to reach that goal. Seriously, how can I make that goal.

I might as well be reaching for the moon. I'm not like the people who say, "Oh, this doesn't bother me at all, I can make that much in a month. " Cause I can't.

Seriously, I will never make my payout. And you know what, if I come close to it, I bet you anything it'll be raised to M$250. This was fun when the goal seemed approachable.

Right now, it stopped being fun. Mostly cause the pay for a lot of the questions are in the nickel and dime range. And I like to answer those questions, cause I like helping.

But I was really looking forward to that $40 dollar payout. I was going to get a Cinematic Titanic DVD with that money. Sigh.

I joined in December and it was $40 payout, but then we got an e-mail from Mahalo stating that the changes ($150 payout) were going in effect as of December 23rd (If I am not mistaken), so not too long ago. Hope this helps.

I guess Mahalo wants to cheat people out of their money. Didn't the payout ratio used to be $0.80 per Mahalo dollar? It is now $0.75 per Mahalo dollar.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
