When I use my keypad it unlocks the car but does not lock the car?

Usually if it can lock, that means the linkage is ok. If you have serrate buttons,then the open button is bad. If one button does both it could be the receiver.

Have a mechanic shop or the dealer take a look at it.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
