When will France and/or the United States have a female President?

I do not want to accept any leadership position, just BECAUSE I am a woman. I want my dedication, my dependabilty, my record, my intestional fortitude, my guard to speak for me.

I DO NOT WANT the position, just because it came down to "Marcie" vs "Darwin".

After all of my effort, and sacrifice........the LAST thing that I want is to be awarded a position because I am a woman..................It voids everything that I , my mother, and Grandmothers have worked for................equality.

Here, you are, asking us to give credibility to this very thing that women have fought against.

If a man opens a door, offers a raincoat.......it is seen as a humane and gentile gesture, and I welcome and appreciate it................but to " vote" for me, because I am a woman in oppostion to an equally qualified man......it is quite condensenting.............I resent it.

Let each of us, have a female president, when the BEST qualified is a woman.

Can't say about France, but I think we are a few years from a woman president. There is one group left from about age 70 on up that are still voting and many of them still see women and other races as second class citizens.

It is changing very quickly though and it will happen within the next 10 years I think. (I hope so anyway, it is time).

It will happen when the money changers need a woman in office.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
