When you are feeling overwhelmed at work, do you know when to say, "NO'?

I certainly know how to say, "No" but no one seems to care at work. New job duties are presented to me as, "Would you be interested in doing this? " I say, "No," but I still end up getting them.

I wish they would just be honest and give work to me. They should just say, "Do you need to keep this job? Then here - take it!

I do now at the age of 48, but as a 20-30 year old I struggled with this. I have no problem saying no now since I know self care is a very important skill to have for better quality life.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
