You may write the phrase with quotation marks. In this way the phrase is searched exactly as you typed. That's what I do usually when I know only the lyrics.
Lyricserver. Com or you can just type in some of the lyrics you know and find it thats how I usually do it.
Personally I find Google does a fine job! For example... google.com/search?hl=en&q=%22half+past+d... A search for: "half past dead" lyric google.com/search?hl=en&q=i+met+him+in+a... A search for: I met him in a swamp lyric.
Google it or just take a long time searching youtube.com.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
