I think the best place to get the best deals on vintage online is Ebay.com. E-bay is so over saturated with products it’s easy to find someone selling great vintage at cheap prices. Also I like Etsy.Com for vintage.
There are a lot of products on Etsy as well and it takes a bit to find deals but you can find a lot of unique vintage. A great place to sell your old clothes for credit, are buy, sell, and trade shops. I live in the Los Angeles area and we have Buffalo Exchange, Wasteland, and Crossroads.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
