Where were you on September 11th, 2001?

I was living in Florida, working overnight security. I had just recently arrived home and was spending a little time on the computer before going to bed when the message boards started going crazy about a plane crash at the twin towers. I turned on the television just in time to see the second plane hit.

Needless to say I didn't get much sleep that day.

September 11th affected persons across the world. I think it would be great to see who was affected and how.

I was on a short vacation in South Carolina and was getting ready to head to the airport for home when I learned that a plane had hit the first tower. All air travel was cancelled so I couldn't return home until the following weekend and I was with people that I didn't want to be with. I remember that I was terrified, horrified and so very sad about the events of that day.

I did a lot of crying and a lot of praying. I felt very vulnerable. In the home I was in, the father worked at the Pentagon and the daughter lived in New York city, so it was absolute mayhem, but thankfully with a happy ending for the family, as both members were safe.

I remember the exaxt moment to this day. It's something I'll never forget.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
