Which from your experience is better a Honda Civic or a Toyota Corolla?

1 You cannot go wrong with either one. The Civic is sportier and handles better. Unlike the Corolla, it is available as a coupe.

2 I would not be caught dead in a Honda Civic for one reason (and it is totally stupid to use it after all these years). When I was 16 (that would be almost 10 years ago), I got in an accident with a Honda Civic (other drivers fault she backed up in a diagonal into my lane). We were going slow at the time.My sister, who was in the passenger seat noted that she has on occasion moved more when I stop at a red light then when the actual accident happened.

My Suzuki Esteem did not have a dent. It has a small scratch and some paint on the front head light. The other car on the other hand was completely totaled.

The front end was smashed. It was appalling. Although one could say that in ten years the safety has improved as well as the technology of the body work advanced.

I still cannot get over the sight of that crumpled car after basically tapping my car. It was shocking! Therefore, If I had to choose one car out of the two.. I would take the Corolla.

In the case of the two vehicles in question...... personal preference should play the key role here. Which car feels more comfortable to you and which one feels better when you want to drive it. Which interior you prefer better than the other.

The reason I said that is becasue both are excellent cars albeit if you look at the real data in terms of actual sales, corolla has a slight advantage of being the best selling car in the world and third best in the US preceded by Camry at top followed by Accord. The Civic is the next in line. One thing going for the Corolla is better MPG compared to Civic but that is something not a huge consideration as both are pretty much very efficent and econimical cars.

Before you make the final decision you need to get the feel of both the cars so that you know which is more suitable for you. Despite having said all the above, the decision should be YOURS alone, we are here simply to give you advice and guidance based on our own experience Disclaimer: At one time I was employed in the automobile industry. Lets see! All motor cars are not born equal! I have owned several Toyota Corollas and a late model Honda Civic.

The first priority is safety. Always get the full safety pack or options available. Always go to each company's site and find out what is included in the vehicle.

Compare the price as 'drive away. ' Always read all the reviews to get your bearings. From my experience (as a police pursuit driver) I would go for the Honda Civic.

You may have different variations in the States, some with all the goodies and some just standard. It is a very well built vehicle and I love the large electronic console. It is easy to check your speed etc. It is very comfortable and goes very well.

It also looks good. The Toyota is, to me, an ugly car. It has dowdy lines and a plastic appearance.

I don't think it come up to the Honda. It is really about what you want and can afford. Sources: My take.

Honda Civic get the nob, but I have had good experience with My first Civic (1998 2 door) died with over 225,000 miles, and only because the front end got crunched and the repair cost was too high to justify for such a high mileage car. Still, it auctioned for $1,000, even in the damaged condition. I drove several cars looking for a replacement.

The Toyota Corolla did not really impress me very much. I owned a Toyota Tercel previously, small 4 door model no longer made. It too got over 200,000 miles, and I loved it at the time.

I bought my wife a Toyota Yaris, because the price for the new car was so low. But I don’t like the delicate steering at all, and it feels more crowded than the Civic. The AC is weak, compared with the Civic.

I bought a 2004 Civic for myself to replace my old one. The Civic holds the road like a brick, the steering is rock solid - you almost don’t need to hold the wheel. Never any front end problems.

Great mileage, but the same for the equivalent Yaris or Corolla. My Civic never gives me any trouble, it is a wonderful car, needs maintenance, but not regular shop TLC like some cars that seem addicted to repairs (thinking GM and Ford - don't get me started). I also think the Civic holds its resale value better than the Corolla.

The 5 speed is what I drive, and this keeps the gas mileage higher.

Need to know about Toyota Corolla or Camry.

I have never driven a 3, so it could be noisier than the Civic for all I know. I also agree with the post that states that the Corolla is probably the quietest. Toyotas are usually rock solid and quiet.

Although this usually comes at the price of feeling "disconnected" from the driving experience. Totally off topic, but I just drove my mom's (age 67) 2001 Celica GT-S with 23000 miles on it. What a piece of crap.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
