Alta, UT"AltaSnowbird was voted the #1 resort in the U.S. By Skiing Magazine for five years running. " - Ski UtahAlta in Utah has good snow even late in the season. I went there a long time ago in March or April (It was Easter) and it snowed quite frequently and they had fresh powder. It could have been a particularly good season but I spoke to some locals and they did say that it has possibly the best snow in the area.
Alta is also very affordable. It's usually not crowded and it's not touristy. There is no snowboarding allowed in Alta but you can snowboard in Snowbird "next door".
It closes April 19. alta.com.
Besides the usual tourist/traveller brochure and online sites I suggest to try those weather enthusiasts sites as most have their active forums and historical data but ofcourse their own latest and updated weather reporting right there on  the ground ala real-time. You can start with accuweather forum ( the WeatherMatrix people move there years ago.
Aspen will still be open till early April, yet in late March it's likely that the snow will be more wet or slushy than an earlier time. Jackson Hole is open till March 29th, yet it's also likely to be slushy. I've heard from the forums that Telluride is the best place to go in March, as the weather tends to be not as cold and the snow is better.
The forum on Trip Advisor seems to tell this best. Â See the video below of Telluride in Marchhttp://www.tripadvisor.com/ShowTopic-g33667-i1543-k1487659-Skiing_Telluride_January_vs_March-Telluride_Colorado.html.
Most ski resorts in Colorado and Utah provide a powdery snow in November to April. January is the coldest month. In Aspen alone you can expect an Avg.
Annual Snowfall: 300 inches / 762 cm. And Veer Valley in Utah have Avg. Annual Snowfall: 300.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
