Who are the prime candidates to lure Lebron away from the Cavs?

Teams in the major media markets are the leading candidates. The Nets have perhaps the best chance, with a new arena planned in Brooklyn and (prior to the past year) deep-pocketed Bruce Ratner now running the show along with LeBrons friend Jay-Z. Their salary cap situation requires additional fine-tuning if such a deal can be made.

The Knicks cap situation is better, although not perfect. Because of the reduction in next years salary cap, the Knicks may be unable to retain some of their few existing good players, such as David Lee. More important, they might not be able to sign another mega superstar such as Chris Bosh or Dwayne Wade as was their master plan.

The Bulls have an abundance of young talent and would be a good fit, but again have to work around the cap restraints; even with LeBrons admitted fascination with Michael Jordan.
