Tler is definitely the worst in recent history, though I can think of a few -- i.e. Caligula and a handful of other emperors and Caesars -- who practiced genocide on at least as massive of a scale, if not more, and who delighted in human and animal torture, murderous treachery, and selling millions (both their own citizens and enemies) into slavery. Nero killed his own mother, not just the faceless millions who didn't fit into his idea of a "perfect world.

Then there are those that, had they been given the power that probably would have wrought much more devastation just to satisfy their own twisted minds and sadistic pleasures -- Elizabeth Bathory comes to mind.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
